- Peterson Residence "El Castillo"

- As an addition to their Spanish style home,
the Peterson’s wanted an outdoor living area for year round
entertaining. The primary elements of the outdoor ‘pavillion’
addition are a living room with a fireplace, a large dining area,
and an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and pizza oven. A trellis was
also added (left) as a transition between the existing house and
the new ‘pavillion’. Perspective drawings were used
as a tool to insure that the new large addition would not over-power
the existing house. Materials for the addition were chosen to
compliment the original structure.
