Bennich Residence

Located in Starr Pass in the Tucson Mountains, this Southwest Territorial 'hybrid' takes advantage of the sloped site by stepping down with the topography. The views are to the south, the covered patios are placed to follow the path of the sun - moving from the master bedroom in the morning, to the pool area at mid-day, and finally to the outdoor living room in the evening. It is the second home for a retired Swedish couple. During the design phase, the clients resided in Sweden; however, the distance between us became insignificant through use of the fax machine and e-mail.
